Invited speakers were: -

Ras-Work is the head of Inter-African Committee against Harmful Traditional Practice (IAC); a network that works against female genital mutilation in 28 African countries and has been awarded numerous international awards for this work.

Saltnes Lopez, a representative of the Health Directorate; Department of Minority Health and Rehabilitation gave an introduction to the suggestion that girls are at risk of being subjected to FGM.
